What We Do
The Hebron Women’s Club undertakes many community service projects and fun activities throughout the year.
Here is a sampling of our recent activities:
- Donated fleece blankets to HIHS (Hebron Interfaith Human Services)
- Collected over 80 holiday gifts for local families in need
- Co-sponsored a Winter Cabaret dinner dance fundraiser to benefit local programs for kids
- Honored our 41st Hebron Citizen of the Year
- Supported HIHS though funding and donations
- Donated funds in support of AHM Mental Health Fund ,established following the Sandy Hook incident
- Volunteered at the Covenant Soup Kitchen
- Raised funds to provide assistance dogs for the disabled
- Held our annual elementary school spelling bee - See 2017 picture
- Held town-wide setback tournament fundraisers
And for fun:
- Participated as a group in “paint nights”
- Celebrated the holidays with a party and dinner
- Celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with a potluck dinner
- Recognized members’ birthdays during the year
- Started an in-club book club
